Just crap

Those log entries came in non stop starting yesterday morning. 24 hours later the office’s Internet connection is completely down. SBC arrived here yesterday around ~3pm and starting looking for the cause of the intermittent signal loss. Turns out the cableling on the utility poles has corroded and needs to be replaced. Fast forward 9am today SBC has arrived back here and is now starting to repair the T1 circuit. They say it could take as long as a half hour to several hours, I wonder how many more “Do you know the Internet isn’t working?” calls I’ll get this morning.
