The Beginning of The End, or The End of The Beginning.
On Monday I started my final semester of college. Yep you read that right I will be graduating this December. Considering I graduated from High School in 1994 it has been a very long journey. In those ten years I have attended three different colleges. I’ve attended Texas Tech University, Midland College, and The University of Texas of the Permian Basin. Lots of good memories were obtained during those ten years, and I still have four more months to obtain more.
I was actually able to attend the PBLUG’s fourth meeting over the weekend. Last Thursday I was scheduled to begin a major upgrade of the company’s ERP system. It so happened that the consultant that was to oversee the process got sick and was forced to cancel. Lucky for me? I wished, the upgrade was just pushed back one week and now I have to do it this Thursday and Friday. Hopefully the conversion to the new database format will go as smoothly as the simulations have, if not I will be forced to work over the weekend. I can always use the extra money =)
